Dave Shelton
Tru 2 My Soul Productions, Chairman/CEO- David Shelton has a long history in the music industry. He was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. David was the youngest of 8 children, with strong roots in the church. David started singing at the age of 5, at weddings, anniversaries, church venues. Raised in the church, the transition to the secular scene was quite new but comfortable.
David went to work and Founded his band Soulretrieva. Shortly after, David also accepted the position of front man for the rock Band Roadwork. He instantly became a success with Roadwork. Tony “T-Money” Green (leader of Roadwork) gave David an opportunity to perform his original songs in the shows. David was co-creator of Tru 2 My Soul Productions a songwriting company, and moved to Atlanta, GA. Atlanta gave him a broader view on the music world and an opportunity to build relationships and network within the music industry. David is Still yet performing at some of Atlanta top venues.
After a long night of rehearsal the dream was formed into a reality. Seeing the music for being an outlet of emotions, not to be trapped in a creed, religion, or a genre, free to express the way life deals with an individual.
Tru 2 My Soul productions was formed.
