There's a cute Christmas song that starts off, "when the weather outside is frightful"
As a child growing up in Toledo, Ohio I hated the snow. Fast forward 30 plus years and I now live in the Arctic of Alaska. Where we have Freezing weather of -30°to -50° below zero.
That song isn't so cute if the weather here is frightful. Living in the Arctic you have to be careful because the snow and the wind make it extremely hard to go outside.
But we can't control the weather. We can't control nature. But what we can control is how we deal with it.
Ivy and I have to make sure we have all of our winter gear on.. The bibs, coats, boots, ski mask, gloves, and hats. To protect us from the storms.
Problems will come and issues will arise, but it will always be how you deal with them. There lies your strength. How you handle it.
Will you allow yourself to succumb, or will you fight to stay alive? Will you allow the storms to remove your smile 😃? Or will the storms help your smile get bigger?
My friend the one thing I know about storms now, is that they will pass, and it will be over.

This situation is seasonal and it will pass, so I choose to deal with it calmly.
