I share this story alot, and as many times as I tell it I'm still reminded of just how powerful this story is.
It starts with my7 oldest son who is 26 today, but when he was 1yrs old to about 4 yrs old, we played a game where he would jump and I would catch him.
I mean catch him jumping off of anything. Jumping off the couch, the porch, the chairs, the dresser, the washer, the dryer, the fridge, and even the car. Whatever he could get on top of, he would jump off, and I would catch. He trusted me. He believed in me. He knew I loved him.
Honestly, we are all that way when we are children. Willing to take risk as long as we know there is someone or something that is willing to catch us when we fall. As a child most of us knew that if we had the love and care of momma, daddy or guardian we would be ok. Why? Because we knew that no matter what we did they would love, care, and comfort us.
I want you to know that God is Love, and God loves you. He doesn't hate you. He is for you. He is standing there with his arms wide opened ready to catch you when you fall. God is on your side. He's not mad at you, he's not wanting to hurt you. He loves you.
So why are you afraid? Why do you allow the anxiety to torture you?
Fear is only there because we can't see God's arms open wide.
So stop being afraid, and trust that God will catch you.
Know that PERFECT LOVE can cast away all FEAR.

Today I am willing to walk through my procrastination, my anxiety, and my fear.

No need to be afraid. Remember that you are protected.
