Morning Meditations with Coach Dave

Gratitude is you ticket to Happiness.

Imagine you had two great friends that are in need of help. You one of the friends some money as well as a place to stay. Soon that friend starts complaining about how much you gave them, and how that's not enough. They complain about the mattress on the bed you allowed them to sleep on, and how it was just so uncomfortable. They complain about the shower head, the food in the fridge, and so much more.

Meanwhile the other friend that you gave the exact same thing to simply can't thank you enough daily. Although the money you gave wasn't all they needed, they thanked you because they seen the start of good things coming. Yes, the bed was tough to sleep on, but the fact that they didn't have to be on the streets without a place to have shelter, food, and a shower was just so overwhelming that they found joy in the blessings of knowing life was going to be better.

Now times goes by and both friends are in need again. Who are you reluctant to give to so quickly? Who would you be happy to give more to?

If all you do is complain about what you don't have. What you aren't driving. How horrible your job is. How you hate where you live. How they don't pick you. How messed up life is for you. How bad things always happen to you.

Guess who will be reluctant to give you your hearts desires? Guess who will have to wait extensively for what it is that they want? Guess who will say "I ask, but I don't ever get anything?" Geuss who will say, "how come it seems like everybody's always getting more than me?

Learn to be thankful for all you have and all you don't have. Be thankful for the good, and be thankful for the bad things that happen. Because all things work for your good. Those bad things come to make you stronger.

Today find 2 things in your life right now that you feel are happening to you. Two things you consider not good.

Now say this with me:

Thank you God for (Say the issue here)that im facing right now. I know that this is going to make me better and stronger.

Repeat after me:

When I wake up each morning, I am thankful for another day of life on this earth, even if it's not always easy or convenient at times.

Have a wonderful day 😊

Namaste 🙏
