I’m Dave Shelton — a transformational life coach, motivational speaker, and healing facilitator.
My mission is simple: to help people heal forward.
I believe you’re not broken — you’re becoming.
My story isn’t theory; it’s testimony. For years, I wrestled with doubt and quiet lies: that I wasn’t enough, that I couldn’t rise above what I’d survived, that my story didn’t matter. But deep down, there was always a whisper — a steady voice within my soul — reminding me that I was stronger, wiser, and more capable than the world had ever told me I could be.
I’m a father of five and grandfather of eight who spent over a decade raising my children alone after trauma, loss, and personal rebuilding. Life tested me, but faith transformed me.
Originally from Toledo, Ohio, I found new life and spiritual grounding in Alaska’s Northwest Arctic — embraced by the Inupiaq people and their deep sense of community and healing.
What began as survival became purpose: helping others turn pain into power and fear into focus.
Today, I know that the words we believe can either chain us or free us.
And freedom begins the moment we decide to be true to who we really are.
“Be true to thine own self… because your soul is waiting to be heard.”
Best Regards,
Dave

🎓 Education & Background:
At 52 years old, Dave enrolled in college for the first time with zero credits. Three years later — after testing out of 22 classes and earning his B.S. in Psychology — he graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2025.
Dave was honored to serve as Keynote Speaker at commencement, receiving two standing ovations from thousands.
That moment confirmed what he already knew: his story could heal others — if he's brave enough to tell it.
