Morning Meditations with Coach Dave

Spring is here. Time to sow and reap, Time to grow and harvest. Each season is only for a short while. Some we look forward to seeing and some we love to see leave. Some we have to prepare ourselves for, while there are some that no matter what you do they kinda sneak up on you.

But so are our emotions. We've been taught that anger, sorrow, grief, and sadness are the bad emotions and that happy and joy are the good ones.

But what if we allowed ourselves to see all emotions like we see the seasons. We would then see that they are all necessary to help us be who we are.

We all know that some seasons are more welcoming to us than others. But all seaons are necessary. None are better than the other, only because they are just emotions. Just like the changes in extreme weather, you still have to function. The weather doesn't make the day bad, nor does your emotions make your day or life bad.

So Feel free to allow yourself to feel all emotions. Your emotions don't make you a good or bad person, they just make authentic.

Repeat after me:

I am allowed to feel all of my emotions and still love my life, and who I am.

Namaste 🙏
