Hey Friend! Do you know what a bookshelf, a chair, and a screwdriver have in common?
They all have a purpose! A bookshelf is meant for books, a chair is meant for sitting, and a screwdriver is meant for turning screws.
But what happens if we use the bookshelf as a pantry, the chair as a ladder, or the screwdriver as a hammer?
Does that mean they are no longer useful? No way! They can still be helpful even if we use them in a different way than they were originally intended.
The same goes for people. A woman who provides for her family and a man who stays home with the kids both have value, even if they are doing things that are not traditionally expected of them.
Someone who is sick or injured, or an Elder who can't move around as easily as before, still have worth and a purpose.
Even homeless or poor people have value!
Your purpose in life might change as you grow and experience new things. Maybe you start doing one thing, but then end up doing something totally different. That's okay! It just means your purpose has shifted.
Repeat after me:
"Everything I do serves a purpose for the life that has been designed for me."
So always remember that everything you do serves a purpose in your life, even if it's not what you originally thought you would be doing.
Just keep serving well and being the best you can be!
Namaste 🙏
